Toy of the Week: A Pool Gunboat

Welcome to the inaugural offering of the Way Off Task Toy of the Week (WOTTOW)! Our elves (Boogle, Moogle, and Woogle) have been asking their West-Coast cousin (Google) what’s hot out there, and we’ve found Just The Thing for You:
The Excalibur Motorized Pool Lounger!
Okay, I know it’s getting late in the swimming pool play season, but bear with me here. Christmas is fast approaching, you may want to consider putting a couple of these under the tree for next season! And for those of us who are fortunate enough to live in warmer, sunnier climes, we can use them starting now. (You Yankees know we’re fortunate; otherwise you wouldn’t hurry down this way in the wintertime, often several times if you can talk your boss into the travel money.)
You can even use one for ice fishing, after you take your chainsaw and cut a big hole in the lake ice. Saves having to get the boat out, after all.
These rigs are cool! You can relax, or you can get several of these aqueous go-buggies and play bumper cars! (Does that make it bumper pool?) For the Real Man, who normally wouldn’t be caught dead in an everyday pool lounger, the motors make up for the obvious deficiencies. That, and there are holder for Adult Beverages of all sorts.
The only drawback, really, is that it doesn’t come with a model, as pictured. You have to supply your own…
Enjoy Your WOT Today!

There’s clearly some dangerous assets on board, yes. Can you imagine how one of those would affect the fishing? If you were completely blind, of course, you’d have the whole river to yourself in minutes.
Not that I have heard of too many blind fly fishermen…
And would you check out the bumpers on that thing.
